15 January 2015- The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Services, National and County government, Volunteer Involving Organizations (VIOs), corporates, academia and members of the public participated in a workshop that saw the validation of a National Volunteer Policy in Kenya.
The National Volunteering Policy will aim to facilitate the quantification and qualification of volunteer contributions to social and economic development in Kenya.
January 15, 2015 Safaricom, the UN Millennium Campaign, Seed Institute, Save the Children Kenya, Amnesty International and VSO launch “Niko15” competition aimed at showcasing how Kenyan youth see a world free from poverty, inequality and environmental degradation.
Since the conception of the Millennium Development Goals 15 years ago, Kenya has seen unprecedented progress in free primary school enrolment, reductions in the number of HIV/AIDS cases and overall poverty has reduced, although only marginally.

The Self help group was identified for support in installation of a water tank as well as facilitating a water and electricity connection with the support of the Kilimani MCA, Moses Ogeto and Kilimani Chief, Jonathan Otiyo.

VSO Jitolee and Kenya Diaspora Alliance (KDA) this morning signed a partnership aimed at maximizing on the skills, talents and the potential of the Kenyan Diaspora community for socio-economic development in Kenya.
The partnership responds to the opportunity to influence the development of a Diaspora Policy in Kenya and related subsequent legislations as part of the responsible citizenship engagement at national and county levels.
Nairobi, 12 August 2014: The Housing Finance Foundation (HFF) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with VSO Jitolee where both organisations have committed to providing, implementing, guiding and coordinating Youth Skills Training in Kenya.
This partnership responds to the growing demand for people with skill and knowledge and with the realisation that the global economy is undergoing rapid development, where technology, driven by skills and innovation, will be among the key determinants of enhancing efficiency, productivity and competitiveness.
The Randstad-VSO partnership celebrates its 10th anniversary by featuring the VSO logo on the Williams Martini Racing car, at the Silverstone race on 6 July, 2014. Randstad and VSO have been working together since 2004 to effectively recruit volunteers to help fight poverty around the world.

The KCB Foundation in partnership with VSO Jitolee has officially commissioned the Matinyani Youth Polytechnic in to a centre of excellence in agribusiness.
Under the theme Agribusiness for Youth Prosperity, the centre is set to empower over 400 youth into agribusiness as means to enhance food security in Kitui County and eventually spread across the country
