Advocacy specialists
By helping organisations to develop advocacy strategies to promote their organisation and causes you’ll help them to change attitudes to HIV and AIDS, education, gender and disability and protect the rights of those minorities.
We are looking for advocacy and communication specialists with a degree in a related field and at least two years' expeirence in communications, strategy development, policy analysis, social research or other organising. Event planning, negotiation and networking experience and training is also an asset.
You could have the opportunity to work with and train staff in lobbying, policy analysis and research. You'll help them develop promotional and educational material and generally work to help build the capacity of your partner organisation to advocate on behalf of disadvantaged people.
You could be working in Gambia, Ghana, Uganda, Pakistan, Guyana and Sierra Leone.
