Fundraisers
You’ll be working within the VSO HIV and AIDS programme, which aims to combat stigma, support prevention, and increase the availability of treatment, care and support for those infected and affected by HIV and AIDS.
Fundraiser placements include raising awareness and money for projects working in the area of HIV and AIDS.
Your role will involve:
Strengthening the existing project/programme management systems for efficient and effective service delivery
Establishing/strengthening existing partnerships
Developing funding proposals in consultation with stakeholders and developing project action plans and monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure their successAssessing funding opportunities
Building on and developing implementing strategies
Expanding financial opportunities
Networking skills
Institutional funding, resource mobilisation skills, financial planning, event management, grants management, marketing and donor management strategies.
It is essential that you have a Bachelors Degree or Diploma in business, marketing/ social development and at least 3 years work experience in Fundraising. Ability to prepare funding proposals; networking skills; institutional funding, resource mobilisation skills, financial planning, event management, grants management, marketing and donor management strategies is also required.
Programme development and Practical Fundraising expertise will be an added advantage.
French speakers required for Burkina Faso.
