HIV and AIDS mainstreamers

You’ll be working within the VSO HIV and AIDS programme, which aims to combat stigma, support prevention, and increase the availability of treatment, care and support for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.

You will have an advisory role in the design, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS education; training, HIV mainstreaming.

Background of educational institutions or university preferred as roles are in university and teachers college.

We are looking HIV and AIDS mainstreamers with a degree in a related field and at least three years experience in HIV/AIDS programming; HIV mainstreaming, HIV/AIDS project management; behaviour change communication; networking, monitoring and evaluation of projects and programmes; HIV/AIDS policy, HIV/AIDS care and service management. Masters degree or strong background of educational institutions is required for University and College placements.

Placements are mainly in Ethiopia though you could also be working in countries like Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda and Cameroon.
