Communications Specialists
You’ll be working within the VSO HIV and AIDS programme, which aims to combat stigma, support prevention, and increase the availability of treatment, care and support for those infected and affected by HIV and AIDS.
Communications Specialists roles include planning, management, communications and media relationship management.
Your role will involve communications material development, media liaison, implementing communication campaigns; developing communications strategies and design of communication materials/ advocacy messages on rights/discrimination of marginalized groups such as persons living with HIV and AIDS and persons with disabilities.
It is essential that you have a Bachelors Degree in Communications or related field and at least 5 years experience wide variety of media, international communication systems; content management and communications strategies development is required.
Experience in fund raising and mental health exposure will be an added advantage as will fluency and proficiency in French which is required for placements in Burkina Faso.
You could be working in countries like India; Namibia; South Africa; Burkina Faso; Sri Lanka; Kenya; Mozambique.
