Medical doctors
Specifically:
surgeons
pediatricians
obstetricians
general practitioners with skills in surgery, pediatrics or obstetrics
hospital doctors.
Primary health care managers/doctors
With experience in developing and managing community-based health programmes and services for at least three years, can write proposals, and with field expertise in maternal-child health, nutrition, health prevention, promotion with complementary curative approach, familiar with participatory approaches and behavioral change strategies.
Health managers
With degree or masters in public health or healthcare management/administration, or Doctor of Medicine preferred.
Nurses/nurse-midwives
Should have either hospital, community, psychiatric or maternal and child health experience, and ability to train others or have worked as clinical instructors. Also need nurses with nursing management experience.
Physical therapists and occupational therapists
With community-based rehabilitation experience.
Pharmacists
Should be licensed pharmacists with capability to train or teach.
Nutritionists
With programme development and management experience in nutrition.
Health educators
With experience in behavioral change communication in health education/health promotion.
